We‘re happy to announce that we‘ve just launched an update of our Lufthansa Miles & More MemberScout application for the iPhone. Now users can register with their Miles & More number and PIN in order to receive a status branded version. We‘ve also fixed some bugs and improved the performance of the application. By the way, we are also working hard on a Blackberry Version.

So what can you actually do with the Lufthansa Miles & More MemberScout app and what are the features? It‘s a community tool for frequent flyers and members of Lufthansa Miles & More and helps travelers to get in touch with other travelers based on their interests. For example if you have a long layover or some time to kill before your next flight use MemberScout to see who is nearby and has the same interests.
You are in a new city and need some help? Go to the Member-helps-member section and ask others for tips, help, inside knowledge and their travel expertise. Where is a good hotel? What are the hottest nightlife spots in the city? This tool is very helpful, simply because it works in real-time and you can always spontaniously ask the community and get a answer in right away. Another nice gimmick is the taxi-sharing function. Just arrived at the airport? Activate the taxi-sharing function to see who is nearby and is interested in sharing a taxi to the city center. In this way you can save some money and have a good conversation at the same time.
